Refund Policy

Effective date: July 2026. Fair and simple — you only pay for a note you actually receive.

US Medical Notes connects you with an independent, US-licensed provider who conducts a real assessment. A note or other documentation is issued only when the provider determines it is clinically appropriate. Because an outcome is never guaranteed, our policy is straightforward and fair.

Money-back if no note is issued. If a licensed provider reviews your request and determines that documentation is not clinically appropriate, and no note is issued to you, you receive a full refund of your assessment fee.

1. When refunds apply

  • A provider assessed your request and did not issue a note or other documentation.

  • You were charged in error or charged more than the advertised price for the service you selected.

  • A duplicate charge was created for the same request.

2. When refunds do not apply

  • A licensed provider assessed you and issued the documentation you requested — the service was delivered as described.

  • You provided false, incomplete, or misleading information that affected the assessment.

  • You requested fraudulent, backdated, or "novelty" documentation, which we do not provide.

  • You are dissatisfied with a provider's independent clinical judgment even though a valid assessment was completed and documentation was issued.

Issuing a note is a clinical decision. We stand behind the assessment, not a predetermined result — but you are never charged for a note you do not receive.

3. How to request a refund

Contact us through our contact page with the name and email used for your request and the approximate date. If a provider did not issue documentation, we will process your refund promptly — in many cases you do not even need to ask, as eligible refunds are issued automatically.

4. Refund timing

Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method through our payment processor, Stripe. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it typically takes 5 to 10 business days for the refunded amount to appear on your statement.

5. Chargebacks

If you believe you are owed a refund, please contact us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a chargeback. Filing a chargeback for a service that was properly delivered (an assessment was completed and documentation issued) may result in the suspension of your account. We reserve the right to dispute chargebacks that are not supported by this policy.
